Are you at a loss as to why no matter what you try, your network marketing strategies just don't seem to be effective? You've read every book and article you can find and gone to those seminars which claim to let you in on the big network marketing "secrets". You've been working your hardest and it seems like you're just throwing money down a hole with nothing to show for it.

The problem a lot of network marketers have is not really understanding how things work in this industry; as a result, they make mistakes which could easily be avoided and make unwise decisions. In most cases, they are acting in good faith - but the information they are going on comes from an unscrupulous company who promised them the moon. The reason people fail to succeed in network marketing is that they have never been given a true picture of the industry.

It so happens that nearly all (95%) of people who start in network marketing have no previous experience in sales. Since network marketing is all about sales (no matter what any MLM company will tell you), this is a problem. People tend to think of network marketing as easy money, with the product selling itself while they need do nothing but collect their checks.

Another thing which a lot of network marketing programs will tell newcomers is that they can sell to their friends and family; of course, your friends and family may be less than thrilled with the product you're selling and not be interested in buying or signing up. Even if you could get every one of your friends on board, you'd have to be the most popular person on Earth if you expect to get rich this way.

There are literally millions of people who are getting involved in network marketing and MLM opportunities; however, almost none of these people are actually making money. So why are people doing so poorly in this industry? For the most part, these people have been scammed - companies have told them how easy it is to make a fortune in network marketing with no work and no sales experience being needed. However, the reality is a far different thing.

Being successful in network marketing requires MLM training, experience in sales and a lot of practice just like anything else. So is it possible to make money with network marketing? Indeed it is; you can even become quite wealthy - but it isn't going to happen overnight. You'll have to be patient, persistent and willing to put in some hard work. Think about it for a minute. If you could really become fabulously wealthy overnight through network marketing, wouldn't everyone be doing it already? Knowing the mistakes commonly made by people as they begin to get involved in network marketing, MLM and other home based business opportunities, you can avoid making these big networking mistakes as you start your network marketing career.

Action is the Key!

It is true of all business. But that is the gospel for Network Marketing success.

Big dreams are good. They make us ambitious. They give us the big picture. But to achieve those dreams we need to take action everyday. MLM is basically a business of small actions which builds up into big business.

It is all very well to dream about reaching the Himalayas. But to get there we need to start walking. Take those steps one after the other. Every step is taking you closer to your destination. Let us look at all those small things you start with to build your power Network Marketing business.

Have a Plan. If you don’t know where you are going how will you get there? That is why you need a plan. Prepare a plan of action of the direction, the how and the method of reaching there fast. Write down every step you are going to take to reach your goals. Have a separate MLM journal and put everything down. Don’t be vague or leave the action and planning to your memory. Putting your plan to paper in black white helps you take better action.

Implement your action plan. Take those steps every day, small though it might be. Start putting your plan into action. MLM success is simply plan the action and action the plan.

Small Successes Create big confidence. Every little step is an achievement of your action plan. There is a satisfaction when you get results or at least you know you have worked at what you planned. Each little success will build confidence. Like a ripple it will grow bigger and bigger. As your confidence grows, you climb the ladder of success faster and faster in MLM.

Money is a byproduct. If you work for a cause, the effect will be results. Work for the love of your MLM opportunity, your product, your customers and your team. Success, money and fame will follow as a result. MLM is a business of helping everyone you come in contact with to get what they want whether it be the product or financial freedom or social support. When you love to work for the success of your team the results will be really big and permanent. If you work just for money it is one more job. The results will be there but not spectacular.

The key to MLM success – Take Action, Plan your business, implement your plan, achieve successes to gain confidence and help others to achieve their dreams as well. This is the simple and effective key to your MLM success.
